Announcing the FOSDEM 2027 Distributions DevRoom
Hello everyone,
We are excited to announce the FOSDEM 2027 Distributions DevRoom!
Linux distributions remain critical digital infrastructure in the 2020s, doing the vital work of ensuring upstream software works well together and supporting evolving workloads like containers and orchestration. The Distributions DevRoom continues to be a historic, unique open forum for our diverse communities to converge, share ideas, and learn from one another's approaches to packaging, desktop environments, and various use cases.
*What's New for 2027*
We have two important changes for this year's DevRoom:
- *Schedule Change*: FOSDEM has made our DevRoom a half-day event, taking place *on Sunday morning*.
- *Session Lengths*: We are exclusively accepting sessions with a maximum length of *25 minutes*.
You can find the full details and the Call for Participation here: https://lists.fosdem.org/hyperkitty/list/fosdem@lists.fosdem.org/thread/HW5G...
