[devroom-managers] [CfP] Mainline Linux on Mobile devroom 2027
Call for participation: Mainline Linux on Mobile We are happy to announce that the Mainline Linux on Mobile Devroom is taking place at FOSDEM 27 and are calling you for participation! ## What is this devroom about? This devroom is about everything related to Linux and Free Software on smartphones and other non-x86 mobile devices that can run a (close to) mainline Linux kernel and fully FLOSS userspace; things that we usually take for granted on our x86 laptops and servers. ## Topics sought Mainline Linux on Mobile really is a whole universe ranging some topics of interest including, but not limited to: - Mainline device support and hardware enablement (kernel and bootloader development) - Linux Distributions (Nura, Mobian, BengalOS, Kupfer, etc.) - Graphical shells (e.g. Phosh, Plasma Mobile, Sxmo, etc.) - Apps and the broader mobile Linux ecosystem - Open Source Hardware, Firmware and Software Freedom ## Info We accept talks of 20 to 30 minutes, including time for Q&A, and they will have to be done in English. We can consider an exception and accept a talk of a longer length, please let us know in your submission, but we won't guarantee it. All FOSDEM talks will be recorded; this requires speakers to consent to being recorded and livestreamed. Therefore by proposing a talk you're implicitly giving consent to being recorded and livestreamed. The recordings will be published under the same license as all FOSDEM content (CC-BY).
