More information on FOSDEM 2007
Hello. Could you please provide more information on FOSDEM 2007? Will it take place in Brussels, at the end of February 2007? Is there a participation/registration fee? When does it become too late to register? How many hours per day does the conference usually last? How many days? Please give me as much information as you can at this time. Thank you. I'm not part of the FOSDEM group, but I can answer some of your questions: 1) There is no entrance fee, nor participants, nor registration fee. 2) Fosdem is normally 2 days: saturday and sunday. 3) If they haven't changed their mind completely :-) FOSDEM should take part the last weekend of February. The hours i'm not sure, but iirc it's from 9 - 18 kind regards, SeJo > > Please give me as much information as you can at this time. > Thank you. > > > Best regards, > -- > Razvan Cojocaru > KeyID: 1024D/04CA34DE > _______________________________________________ > FOSDEM mailing list > FOSDEM@lists.fosdem.org > http://lists.fosdem.org/mailman/listinfo/fosdem - -- "Defer no time, delays have dangerous ends" "Ne humanus crede" Jochen Maes http://sejo.be -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFN8sKHk9siaKv9sgRAsi1AJ0T0Fh4oo2AWImz/6SkVf2CqnHCZgCeLx81 QezeNYs5qux1GKS6/Q74fuQ= =r7pj -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I just added this to the website that will be filled very soon with loads of data (data we recovered from previous backups of our server) I think this piece of text contains all the answers to your questions. The seventh Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting is a 2 days event, organized by volunteers, to promote the widespread use of Free and Open Source software. Taking place in the beautiful city of Brussels, Belgium FOSDEM meetings are recognised as "The best Free and Open Source events in Europe." Important Note: Entrance and attendance to FOSDEM talks and tutorials are free, but donations to help us organizing and keeping the event free are welcome. This year the event will take place the 24-25th February 2007 at Brussels (Belgium) Mailinglist: fosdem at lists.fosdem.org http://lists.fosdem.org We will inform you when new information is on the website site is on-line.
