Wrong year in "Important Dates" section of CFP for Security Devroom @ FOSDEM'2026
Dear all, Good day. I hope you are doing well. Just noticed that "Important Dates" section of CFP for Security Devroom @ FOSDEM'2026 has some dates written wrong. They should be corrected to as following. ## Important Dates - Submission open: 30th October 2025. - Submission deadline: 1st December 2025. - Acceptance notifications: 6th December 2025. - Final schedule announcement: 15th December 2025. - Devroom: Saturday 31 January 2026. Kind regards, Anjan
Hello, thank you for noticing this! We have this already fixed in the repo, but the mail as it was initially sent out is possible to change anymore. https://github.com/security-devroom/fosdem-2026 Best regards, Jakub On Sat, Nov 29, 2025 at 10:35 AM Anjan Roy <hello@itzmeanjan.in> wrote:

Hello Jakub, Just wondering if there is any delay in sending the talk proposal acceptance notification for *security* devroom. I thought we would get to know that by 6th December, 2025. Kind regards, Anjan On 07/12/25 02:37, Jakub Jelen wrote:

Hi, we sent the acceptance notifications today (sorry for a delay). That said, your talk did not make it to the current selection, while discussing a very interesting topic, it was very on the threshold of acceptance. But we got over 70 submissions this year and there is really just this much we can fit into one room for one day. I wanted to avoid sending rejection before having all the speakers confirmed and before we would have to look for potential replacements from the rest of the list. Thanks for clarifying it, Jakub. Definitely I would have loved to receive the FOSDEM talk acceptance notification. But I'll tune-in online for accepted talks. Cheers, Anjan On 09/12/25 18:55, Jakub Jelen wrote:
