The Jabber/XMPP community will once again host a devroom at FOSDEM 2013.

Jabber/XMPP is a set of open technologies for real-time communication,
which power a wide range of applications including instant messaging,
presence, multi-party chat, voice and video calls, collaboration,
lightweight middleware, content syndication, and generalized routing
of XML data.

Proposals are welcome about all aspects of Jabber/XMPP. We especially
like talks about interesting XMPP-based applications you have built
and the challenges you overcame along the way. Tutorials,
demonstrations, and lightning talks are also very much welcome.

If you're interested in giving a talk, please introduce yourself on
the summit at xmpp.org mailing list [1] and provide the following
information:

- - Name of the presenter(s)
- - Short bios for the presenter(s)
- - Session name
- - Session type (presentation, demonstration, tutorial, lightning talk)
- - Session abstract (one or two sentences about the topic)
- - Time requested (typically 5 minutes for lightning talks, 15 or 30
minutes for presentations, 50 minutes for tutorials)
- - URLs for related projects

The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2012. Members of the XMPP
Council [1] will consider the proposals. If yours has been accepted,
you will be informed by email within one week of the submission deadline.
