Talk proposal: Eclipse 4.7 Platform - The new greatness

Hi,

would be great to join the Open Java track again with Eclipse.

Talk description:

This talk will cover the latest development and organizational news of
the free and Open Source Eclipse IDE. You will learn for example what
we are doing to improve Java tool performance by a factor by 1000 and
why we think developing support for a new programming will be much
easier with the new release.

I also cover how people can contribute to the project.

About me:
------------
Lars Vogel is one of the core developers of the Eclipse platform
project, project lead of several eclipse projects and member of the
Eclipse PMC. He is also a contributor a several other Eclipse
projects. He loves to share his knowledge by writing online tutorials
and book and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
------------
