Title:
Project Skara: Investigating Git for code management and code review in
the OpenJDK Community

Abstract:
Project Skara (http://openjdk.java.net/projects/skara/) is investigating 
using Git rather than Mercurial for code management and code review of 
the OpenJDK sources. Of direct interest to OpenJDK contributors, the 
presentation will summarize the state of the investigation, perhaps even 
including a demo.

Bio:
Joe is a long-time OpenJDK developer at Oracle and previously at Sun. 
Joe is lead of OpenJDK Project Skara and was previously the lead of 
Project Coin (small language changes in JDK 7) and the inaugural release 
manager, lead engineer, and quality lead for OpenJDK 6. In addition Joe 
leads the Compatibility & Specification Review Group which looks over 
interface changes proposed in JDK Release Projects.
