Subject: [FOSDEM 2026] Microkernel and Component-based OS devroom

Dear Microkernel community,

as the deadline for this years devroom proposals nears, the Genode project would 
like to offer to take care of the organizational side of the 2026 Microkernel 
devroom.

Because of the limited schedule time (half a day) and the growing number of 
proposals during the past few years, there will be a change in 2026 for 
Unikernel projects where an additional Unikernel devroom will be proposed in the 
hope to make more room for talks. Nevertheless, I would like to thank the 
Unikernel community for the great collaboration during the past few years.

If there are no objections, I will submit a devroom proposal during the next few 
weeks.
