Agenda of Devroom at FOSDEM - Panel cancelled
Hello Georgios, all, We have just been notified that the panel proposal by William Bartholomew, who was scheduled at the end of the Devroom, is canceled. We need to decide how we'll replace it. Either we keep the idea of a panel discussion if you think this is feasible to recruit speakers. We could propose it to some speakers of the session and to maybe two participants from FASTEN? anyone interested? If it seems too complicated to organize the panel, we still have the option to propose the slot to Stefanos Chaliasos who is on the back-up list. Any feedback? thanks Georgios for the feedback. Good idea to maintain the panel. Taking into account the delay to organize it, I think we should keep the lead on the contact with potential speakers. We should target 3 to 5 speakers maximum. We could propose it to: - people from the Advisory Board: Stefano Zacchiroli and/or Alexios Zavras. - maybe one representative from FASTEN: it could be Diomidis for example? (If Diomidis is interested and present at FOSDEM of course). - one or two participants, taken from the Devroom speaker list : if you know the speakers can you please let me know who would be the best candidates? Are you fine with this proposal? (and if we still have at the end one available seat then we can send a mail to the list of speakers asking for suggestions of external participant). And ok to propose to William to moderate it, I will write him an email. Thanks, Catherine Le 20/01/2020 à 13:01, Georgios Gousios - EWI a écrit :
