Hi,
Hi Benjamin
Last year there was a free room that projects could book for an hour for a small meetup.
Is there still such room available this year?
Well, we just learned that we "lost" several rooms in the AW building which the ULB unilateraly decided to not make available to us, so we have to check whether we still have a room to do that (possibly not). The plan was to do so, yes, at least until a few hours ago.
Problem being obviously that we planned with the rooms that were originally granted to us, and filled everything else with devrooms and tracks and such...
We'll definitely keep everyone posted on the list and on the site regarding the "BoF room(s)" (or lack thereof).
Any news?
Yes. We'll announce it when we're ready.
Any update on this? -- Benjamin Henrion <bhenrion at ffii.org> FFII Brussels - +32-484-566109 - +32-2-3500762 "In July 2005, after several failed attempts to legalise software patents in Europe, the patent establishment changed its strategy. Instead of explicitly seeking to sanction the patentability of software, they are now seeking to create a central European patent court, which would establish and enforce patentability rules in their favor, without any possibility of correction by competing courts or democratically elected legislators."
