Hi fosdemers,
Hi Olivier
I would like to contact the team that manages the research devroom to submit a presentation / workshop proposal on howto to turn the PS3 as a cheap yet powerful SIMD computer using linux and other open source tools and libraries.
As the concept of the room seems quite new, I would like to ask them about the relevance of the PS3 programming topic before starting to write an abstract.
That won't fit into the target audience nor topics of the Research Room (which is much more about quality analysis on open source projects, etc...). But it does sound like a very interesting topic for the Embedded devroom :) I will forward your email to the Embedded devroom organizer off-list. cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser <loki@fosdem.org> http://www.fosdem.org /\\ FOSDEM 2008 :: 23 + 24 February 2008 in Brussels _\_v Free and Opensource Software Developers European Meeting -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHY6tar3NMWliFcXcRAj5FAKCTjAdmJwh1p0T8vGVI5/Vb/ObxwgCgnKw8 8BmQ3WWfNkwczFz0+QqKFgE= =wf0b -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
