After success in the past years, the Retrocomputing DevRoom will be back in 2022, with talks about usage of older computing hardware and software in modern times.
IMPORTANT DATES - 26 December 2021: submission deadline for talk proposals
If like us you felt bored during family reunions but procrastinated your submission, rejoice: We're extending the deadline to December 29. Don't wait until you have a complete abstract, you can always polish it later, submit to pentabarf now!
- 31 December 2021: announcement of selected talks - 15 January 2022: Recorded presentations upload deadline - 5 February 2022: Retrocomputing DevRoom
And yes we'll likely get a burn-out preparing the schedule as always :-)
VOLUNTEERING
This year, due to the online nature of the event and the lack of previous years experience with that, devroom organizers are asked to find volunteers to help with running the talks, so if you want to help please contact us.
We still need people to help during the event to read out questions from the audience and moderate the Jitsi channels, so please tell us if you want to join us! François.
