I'm happy to announce the call for participation in the FOSDEM 2027 devroom on Collaboration and Content Management, to be held on January 30th, 2027 at the ULB Solbosch Campus, in Brussels, Belgium. This devroom aims at talking about collaboration software and their building blocks : wikis, file and project management tools, CRM, web editors, CRDT and document conversion … the devroom also aims at presenting new software, techniques, and methods when it comes to building Open-source software for collaboration. We welcome contributions under the form of conferences, talks, or discussions covering any of the following topics : * New projects presentation : wikis, CMS, file and project management tools * Self-hosted platforms * Secure / encrypted collaboration protocols * Collaborative applications * Connectors & Integrations * Knowledge management techniques * … <insert your own ;-) > We hope to provide an opportunity for everyone to meet and exchange about collaborative applications ; present tools used for content management and discuss global solutions for incentivizing collaboration ! If you are new to the devroom, and wonder if your talk is a fit, don't hesitate to propose it anyway ; we'll be happy to review it ! Because we have a limited time for the devroom, we usually recommend submitting presentations of 15 to 25 minutes maximum. When submitting your proposal, make sure you choose the “Collaboration and Content Management” devroom in the track drop-down menu. Otherwise, your proposal might go unnoticed. Don't hesitate to include an estimate of the time needed for your talk in the speaker notes. Once the schedule of the devroom is finalized, we will contact you in order to help you prepare your talk. # Important dates **November 27th, 2026**: deadline for submission of proposals **December 7th, 2026 or before**: announcement of final schedule **January 30th, 2027**: devroom day # Recordings As previous years, the talks and Q/A sessions will be recorded. The recordings will be published under the same license as all FOSDEM content (CC-BY). By agreeing to present at FOSDEM, you automatically give permission to be recorded.
