It's been pointed out to me that the OpenPGP keysigning event isn't listed on the schedule. For technical reasons, we can't (easily) list "outside" as a room on the schedule. Like last year and the years before, we will be outside. Sunday at 14:00. Expect the weather to be bad. Not "snow to your groin" bad, but "cold and generally miserable" bad. Dress accordingly and come prepared. The faster we get through the keysigning, the faster we can get back inside. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Senior Reality Engineer Ministry of Information

Will there be other keysigning opportunities? I'll be en route to the airport at that time.
There usually are a lot of people who have a pgp key, you can ask the person sitting next to you when waiting for the next talk if he / she has a pgp key and want to sign yours or something like that. Ward Op 29-01-12 18:35, Gerald Combs schreef:

What is the Plan B for the keysigning party in case of rainy weather? There's got to be Plan B. And because of the nice weather I'd very much like to see Plan B to put into action. A keysigning party in this kind of weather is just not feasible. -- left blank, right bald

People bring umbrellas and raincoats.

There is no plan B. Dress appropriately.

Could you please fix your mailclient not to do this?

We've had keysigning parties in the snow before. And in the pouring rain. That's just how it is. There is no space indoors, let alone in Ferrer to do the keysigning. It doesn't work. We moved outside because it doesn't work. If my memory serves me right, the year we started doing it outside was not exactly the nicest weather either. Just dress appropriately. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Senior Reality Engineer Ministry of Information
