Hi, Since nearly all speakers for the Fosdem main tracks are known, shouldn't we consider creating a flyer/poster like the previous years? In 2002 Kangaroot was so kind to sponsor printed versions, but a pdf/ps file to print out would suffice. Adriaan

If any1 wants to make such a design? If I have some time I'll hack (quickly) a new flyer.
Well, i have done a lot of such flyers during the past couple of months with LaTeX (pdfLaTeX) and the "leaflet" class. (6 single pages on front- and backside of a regular A4-page). If someone would send me some suggestions (content, pictures etc.) i would be happy to spend my time to assist. Let me just know.

Hi folks, i've spent some hours designing a "FOSDEM General Information-Flyer". With the help of LaTeX (pdfLaTex) and the "leaflet-class" i easily came up with a small and nice FOSDEM2007 brochure. Have closer look to it at: https://www.da-tex.org/Transfer "FOSDEM07 General Information-Flyer (fosdem07_gi.pdf) Please let me know your comments and/or counterproposals. In the meantime i am going to think about a second flyer "Timetable-Tracks-And-Talks" which should cover the timeline, rooms and so on. I'm not sure if all the given information will fit on 2x3 pages on the front and rearside of a single A4-paper. Great job ! Could you: - - add the website www.fosdem.org and the dates in the footer of every page ? - - change the logo with the logo found here: http://tmp.fosdem.org - - remove the sponsors - - sort the list of speakers alphabetically by name, except the keynotes. (a small blank space between keynote/rest whould be perfect)
