Hey Pascal, Could both lists (stands and devrooms) be sorted ? That's easier to find one from the list, especially on the stands list which spans more than one screen on my laptop :) Thanks in advance ! -- -- dag wieers, dag@wieers.com, http://dag.wieers.com/ -- [Any errors in spelling, tact or fact are transmission errors]

A couple of questions: * Do the stands have numbers? * Is there a floor plan of he exhibit area that visually shows where each stand is located? Thanks, Jorge www.haiku-os.org

Only internally. Actually, we'll print A4 sheets with assignments and put them on each stand. So when you come on Saturday morning to build it up, you can immediately find yours. We'll also have a list+map of the stands at the Infodesk and other places. But I'll send further information about that to the contact people for each stand as we approach end of February ;)

Not at this point, we're still shuffling to optimize (e.g. put stands near devrooms for projects that have both). cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser <loki@fosdem.org> http://www.fosdem.org /\\ FOSDEM 2008 :: 23 + 24 February 2008 in Brussels _\_v Free and Opensource Software Developers European Meeting -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHVFiJr3NMWliFcXcRAmxlAJ9VXcQeaYuk3c8Fr00j1WmQzQmCHACglysx K1mb4bQcve9oyds3F2YCtfw= =BQZn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

From that POV, it's much easier for the visitor when you can say "We'll be at FOSDEM 2008! Visit us at stand number #" to specifically point them in the right direction. Since the information does already exist, it would help if it were made available openly sooner rather than later. Of course, if there is a reason to keep it guarded until right before FOSDEM, then I shut my mouth. :) >> * Is there a floor plan of he exhibit area that visually shows where >> each stand is located? > > Not at this point, we're still shuffling to optimize (e.g. put stands > near devrooms for projects that have both). Understood. Thanks! Jorge

I guess it's just because there is no _definitive_ "map" yet. Stands are easy to find anyway (just walk along the hallway, and you pass them all), and like Pascal said, everybody can get a free map at the Infodesk next to the entrance. -- Jan Claeys
