the deadline for developer room proposals is in 18 days, on September 9 [1]. The microkernel devroom needs an organizer project to happen. In 2016 it was organized by HelenOS, so let the glove be picked up by someone else next year. (Hint: there already is a precedent for succession to the rotating presidency.)
It should be Genode Labs' turn now if memory serves me right. Therefore, if nobody has any objections, we would like to assume this position and would submit the devroom proposal soon.
