The talk presents several research-driven and industry-driven hot 
topics, bleeding edge development and fresh new ideas from the operating 
systems domain. We focus primarily on microkernel-based systems and 
several of the presented topics are illustrated on HelenOS, but the talk 
is not strictly limited to this scope.
