Survey proposal to be distributed at FOSDEM Devroom participants
by Catherine Nuel 24 Jan '20

24 Jan '20

Hello all, Please see attached a proposal of (short) survey to be distributed to participants during the "Dependency Management" Devroom at FOSDEM. The idea is to get some feedback around needs and expectations in terms of dependency management and to identify the top tech blogs used by developers. Please give your feedback if any (by next tuesday latest please). If you have any suggestion of pertinent question that could be added please let us know an we'll try to add it (we have a limite space as we would like to keep this on an A5 paper sheet), Thanks for your feedback, Catherine -- Catherine Nuel Marketing Co-ordinator OW2 www.ow2.org <http://www.ow2.org/> C: +33 6 77 79 59 15 S: catherine.nuel

Agenda of Devroom at FOSDEM - Panel cancelled
by Catherine Nuel 21 Jan '20

21 Jan '20

Hello Georgios, all, We have just been notified that the panel proposal by William Bartholomew, who was scheduled at the end of the Devroom, is canceled. We need to decide how we'll replace it. Either we keep the idea of a panel discussion if you think this is feasible to recruit speakers. We could propose it to some speakers of the session and to maybe two participants from FASTEN? anyone interested? If it seems too complicated to organize the panel, we still have the option to propose the slot to Stefanos Chaliasos who is on the back-up list. Any feedback? Thanks, Catherine -------- Message transféré -------- Sujet : Agenda of the "Dependency Management" Devroom at FOSDEM Date : Mon, 23 Dec 2019 15:24:49 +0100 De : Catherine Nuel <catherine.nuel(a)ow2.org> Pour : fasten(a)ow2.org Dear all, The preparation of the Devroom at FOSDEM on "Dependency Management" is now finalized and the agenda is published. Many thanks to the FASTEN people who contributed in this preparation for their useful inputs. You may see it on this FOSDEM website page (https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/track/dependency_management/) or a copy is available below. This will take place on Saturday Feb. 1 afternoon. Note we'll keep 15 minutes at the end for a conclusion and to distribute a quick survey to participants. Do not hesitate to send us suggestions of questions if you have any. Talk to you soon in Brussels at the plenary meeting and meanwhile I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Regards, Catherine ----- FASTEN: Scaling static analyses to ecosystems <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/fasten_scaling_static_analyses_to_ec…> Georgios Gousios <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/georgios_gousios/> 15:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1500> 15:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1530> There's no sustainability problem in FOSS /Except that there is./ <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/foss_sustainability_issues/> Carol Smith <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/carol_smith/> 15:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1530> 16:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1600> Comparing dependency management issues across packaging ecosystems <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/comparing_dependency_management_issu…> Tom Mens <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/tom_mens/> 16:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1600> 16:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1630> Building Confidence & Overcoming Insecurity /The ultimate software supply chain self-help guide/ <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/building_confidence_in_security/> Jeff McAffer <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/jeff_mcaffer/> 16:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1630> 17:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1700> Precise, cross-project code navigation at GitHub scale <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/github_cross_project_code_navigation/> Douglas Creager <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/douglas_creager/> 17:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1700> 17:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1730> Spack's new Concretizer /Dependency solving is more than just SAT!/ <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/dependency_solving_not_just_sat/> Todd Gamblin <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/todd_gamblin/> 17:30 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1730> 18:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1800> Package managers: resolve differences /Lively panel discussion on package management/ <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/event/package_management_panel/> William Bartholomew <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/speaker/william_bartholomew/> 18:00 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1800> 18:45 <https://fosdem.org/2020/schedule/day/saturday/#1845> -- Catherine Nuel Marketing Co-ordinator OW2 www.ow2.org <http://www.ow2.org/> C: +33 6 77 79 59 15 S: catherine.nuel
