Why are new devs needed ? can't the previous apps just use the new data ? Possibly not. As I recall, the data the app had was out of date on FOSDEM (it certainly caused me to miss a few talks). Presumably updating the data/app on the day was not possible quite so easily, which would suggest that there's dev work needed for next FOSDEM.
