beer, donations and registration
Hello. I have some questions about this year's FOSDEM: 1. Will there be some kind of donations booth at FOSDEM, or is a bank account transfer the only way to do it? 2. Will there be a time when one can register electronically? I'm thinking that perhaps having such a list would at least be helpful in allowing people with similar interests to meet there, e.g. X from project/company X1 would enjoy finding out more about work from project/company Y1. Just a though... 3. Is the beer event open for everyone? Does one simply pop up there and ask the staff about the FOSDEM party? Thanks. -- Razvan Cojocaru KeyID: 1024D/04CA34DE

Yes! You can donate at the info stand in the H building. If you donate more than 25EUR, you get a free tshirt, if you donate more than X you get a free tshirt and free pocket and more than Y you get a free tshirt and a free book and if you donate more than Z on Saturday, you enter the raffle for gadgets and magazine subscriptions. I can't currently remember what X, Y and Z are, but yes! you can donate at FOSDEM.

There is no "registration" for FOSDEM -- just show up. :-)

Yes! You'll find us upstairs in the bar - you can't miss it. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Please don't Cc me, I am philip@fosdem.org subscribed to the list. "Scum," said Crash, his voice low with resigned menace, "you've bought a leopard, haven't you?" -- (Terry Pratchett, Soul Music)

Sounds good, thanks for the info!

Last year I got a pretty nice t-shirt, but the only problem is that it was XL (no other sizes available, and it was Saturday noon), so I can just wear it as pyjama :-( . Would it be possible to have smaller t-shirt this year? Currently I can just promote FOSDEM to my wife. cheers Boriss

For this year's edition, we ordered more tshirts in different sizes. We'll even have some "lady" tshirts this year (by popular request *grin*). :-) - Philip -- Philip Paeps Please don't Cc me, I am philip@fosdem.org subscribed to the list. - "Sodomy non sapiens," said Albert under his breath. - "What does that mean?" - "Means I'm buggered if I know." -- Mort and Albert are facing a problem (Terry Pratchett, Mort)
