Hello, I posted an inquiry to info@fosdem.org but got no answer yet. 2 years ago there was a perl dev-room at fosdem. It had some good succes. I'm really sorry, but all the devrooms we had available for FOSDEM 2007 have already been booked for the whole weekend. I hope there will be one available for you for the next edition. Having more demands for rooms than we can handle has been an issue for some years now. We have been looking at options to increase the number of rooms, but that would become unmanageable, and unpractical too, as we already use all the rooms in the buildings we rent from the ULB. So that would mean having another building, more isolated from the event, staff to man that building, etc. I am truly sorry, but there's just nothing left anymore. Maybe you can help us in organizing one in Belgium at the beginning of 2007 ? We are looking for a room which could be used for a whole weekend. I forwarded your message to the person who is our contact at ULB, asking to give you some information. My idea would be to contact a hotel (Novotel, ...) to rent a conference room or something the like. You might even be able to have one during or around the time of FOSDEM, that way you would still be able to visit the event if you wish to do so.
