Hi, The devroom's talks on Saturday finish at 17.30. Should we have a dinner with presenters and people from the devroom at 18.00/18.30? Any suggestions with easy access from the venue by a local or usual suspect? regards, Nikos

Sounds good to me. I prefer 18:00, but I'm down for either. :-) Chris
I've not been very active with the devroom organization, I'll be not able to take part either much. But I got a late notice that my stand got accepted and I'll be there for two days, in AW building, available for on-spot talks about JavaCard-s and open source development activities with the "javacard.pro" effort. Dinner sounds like a nice plan, one has to eat after all... -- Martin +372 515 6495 On Tue, Jan 19, 2016 at 12:26 PM, Chris Down <chris@chrisdown.name> wrote:

I'm up for dinner! I think it should be for everyone interested, not just presenter (and I think that's what you think). The time mostly depends on how long it takes to the place, IMHO. Reaching downtown, door-to-door, probably takes more than 30 minutes, but if we book for 18.30 and say that some people may be early that might be good. I suspect a lot of places will be quite crowded though, so if someone knows a place that can handle ~25 people that is a bit off the beaten track, that might be the best. /Simon

They seem quite far (40 mins with tram according to google) and that may be a show stopper if they are people who stay near ULB, or to some other side of the city. I'll try to check whether there is a place near ULB. I'm pretty sure there we considered some options last year, but I should find them. regards, Nikos
HI all, Maybe you can join the sponsored Fosdem diner : http://www.eventbrite.com/e/fosdem-mysql-and-friends-community-dinner-2016-t... ? Plenty of food, beers, cheap, and close to the ULB. Cheers, Sytze. -----Original Message----- From: Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos <nmav@redhat.com> To: security-devroom <security-devroom@lists.fosdem.org> Sent: Tue, Jan 26, 2016 5:33 pm Subject: Re: saturday night dinner On Wed, 2016-01-20 at 14:23 +0100, José Bollo wrote:> Le mardi 19 janvier 2016 à 09:47 +0100, Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos a> écrit :> > Hi,> > The devroom's talks on Saturday finish at 17.30. There are some restaurants in the "Avenue de l'Université", walking from the ULB. Last year I've went to the "La Bécasse" together with the graph processing devroom people. They had booked in advance, perhaps I can as them details. On 26/01/16 17:32, Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos wrote:

Here are the photos that the waiter took at dinner. A bit blurry, but at least good enough to prove you were there ;-)
