[distro-devroom] Talk recordings now live!
by benny Vasquez 13 Feb '25

13 Feb '25

Hi all! First, thanks to all the speakers who made this year's Distros Devroom so incredible. It was an honor to be able to help with the room this year, and to get to watch all of your talks first hand. Second, our talk recordings are finally done being edited and are live! Feel free to share the links to your talks, or to the devroom in general, to help folks who weren't able to make it, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime. https://fosdem.org/2025/schedule/track/distributions/ Thank you again from all of the Distro Devroom Managers, benny Vasquez Chair, Board of Directors @AlmaLinux OS Foundation *I am sending this message now because it suits me, but I don’t expect that you will read, respond to, or act on it outside of comfortable hours for your time zone.*

[distro-devroom] [Distros] Last-minute substitution; Pretalx 500 error
by Justin W. Flory (he/him) 02 Feb '25

02 Feb '25

Hello FOSDEM DevRoom organizers, Could someone help the Distro DevRoom make a last-minute substitution? Our 13:00 speaker called out sick and we had a replacement speaker volunteer. The volunteer did not previously have a Pretix session submitted. I tried to create a new talk in the now-empty slot for the Distro DevRoom, but I got a 500 error. Any help in debugging Pretalx at the last-minute would be super appreciated! -- *Cheers*, *Justin W.
