Dear Pascal, In 2003, a large auditorium, the Lameere, has been devoted to education during a full half-day as we can see in http://archive.fosdem.org/2003/index/schedule.html. As far as I remember, the room was full, showing that many developpers are concerned by education. I know and remember that Bruno Coudoin, the main developper of gcompris, talked this day. I think that such an theme could well be really appealing again this year. I am willing, as I am in contact with many educators, to advertize such a theme and help coordinating it. Dear Pascal,
There are nearly 600 people subscribed to fosdem@, not all of them are called "Pascal". I'm not, for example. I just discovered that the mailinglist is misconfigured to mangle reply-to, so this was probably an honest mistake. I will fix the misconfiguration.

Very good. Please follow the instructions on the webpage Pascal posted in his original message then. If the programme committee agrees with your proposal, a devroom will happen. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Senior Reality Engineer Ministry of Information

yes. I answered to Pascal, has he was the author of the initial message ... and the list too as many other people may be interested by such a broad theme. I do not see any need to change the configuration of the list.

No. You replied to the list. There was no mention of Pascal in the To: header of your last message. Usually this is caused by a misconfigured list installation. I agree you may have caused it yourself too though.
I do not see any need to change the configuration of the list.
I did. And it's already done. Thanks for message. I would probably not have spotted the mistake without it. I've recently been cleaning up the FOSDEM email infrastructure and this probably won't be the last mistake I will have to fix. Dragons within and all that. This discussion is pointless however and entirely tangential to the subject of this thread.

Excellent! We look forward to seeing as many submissions as possible. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Please don't Cc me, I am philip@fosdem.org subscribed to the list.

Note that you should't believe everything you read on websites. Chances are slim that we will be offering 802.11b to devrooms (or anywhere else, for that matter). People who bring lots of 802.11b hardware are also unlikely to be very popular with the network team. Bring 11a, 11g or 11n hardware only please. I'm sure someone who knows how the website works will fix the text accordingly in due course. - Philip -- Philip Paeps Senior Reality Engineer Ministry of Information
