by Jakub Jelen 05 Dec '22

05 Dec '22

Hello everyone, we received several talks proposals that are defined for significantly longer time frame than we can accommodate in next year Security Devroom. If you are receiving this email, you are either one of these or you are subscribed to security-devroom mailing list, where I wanted to publish this for the future reference. We already started reviewing the submissions, so if you are affected by this, please, reach out directly to me or here on the mailing list to with the information if you can adjust the abstract and talk to required 25 minutes as mentioned in the CFP [1]. Otherwise we can not accept them as we have over 40 submissions for only one day. Hello everyone, thank you for participating this year fosdem and Security devroom. We have seen many interesting and diverse talks from various perspectives so I hope you enjoyed it as much as we as organizers did. There are few more request for the presenters before the rest of the year waiting for the next fosdem. You should have received an email for review of your recordings. If there are no technical issues with it, please make sure it starts in right time and publish it (most of you already did this). If you did not upload the slides to penta, it would be also great for others interested in the talk to be able to to follow them. Please, let me know if you will have some difficulties with this. Thank you again and looking forward to see you next year in Security devroom Best regards, -- Jakub Jelen Senior Software Engineer Security Technologies Red Hat, Inc.

Swap presentation time on Sunday?
by Richardson, Brian 29 Jan '19

29 Jan '19

Would anyone in the security devroom be willing to swap presentation times on Sunday? I am currently scheduled to present 12:00-12:25. https://fosdem.org/2019/schedule/event/chipsec/ Unfortunately, this conflicts with a presentation my colleague is giving in the hardware devroom that I want to attend (help with Q&A). I am OK taking a time earlier in the morning in case anyone wants to spend more time socializing on Saturday night :-) Thanks ... br --- Brian Richardson -- Director, Firmware Ecosystem Development brian.richardson(a)intel.com<mailto:brian.richardson@intel.com> -- @intel_brian (Twitter & WeChat) https://software.intel.com/en-us/meet-the-developers/evangelists/team/brian…

dinner on saturday
by Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos 04 Feb '17

04 Feb '17

Hi, About the dinner, since most of us are available in Saturday let's do it then. Last year we tried Mexican-non-alcoholic dinner, so let's try a different continent this year (hopefully with alcohol). I suggest we meet at Saturday at 18.00 on: http://www.quoclong.be/ We are not many registered so I didn't attempt a booking (my French are not sufficient to handle that -if you are in the Brussels area already and speak french please contact me in private). regards, Nikos
