Re: Google Calendar for the talks

Hello, Thanks for the great work, but we have an automatic ical and xcal feed. I noticed we didn't activate them in the menu's yet so I added them right now. Sorry for that ! http://fosdem.org/2009/schedule/xcal http://fosdem.org/2009/schedule/ical These feeds are connected to our schedule-generation-system and will always be up2date. Even if the schedule changes. > Hi, > > I made a public Google Calendar containing all of the main tracks. > They contain the name of the session (e.g. "MediaWiki"), the speaker, > the category (e.g. "Collaboration"), the location (e.g. "Chavanne") > and the date & time. Promotional material: background
by Olivier Samyn 14 Jan '09

14 Jan '09

Hello all, Some years ago (2005 ?) there was a background constest and I enjoyed putting some FOSDEM background on my computer, so that all my coworkers will remember the date just by seeing my screen. Unfortunately, those last years, no background, and so no easy advertising for me... So, starting from the flyer image, I made a simple backgound that sits now on my desktop... I'm not an artist, but I wanted to share it. So if someone is interested: http://www.oleastre.be/export/fosdem-2009.png Olivier.

LPI exams at FOSDEM 2009
by Pascal Bleser 14 Jan '09

14 Jan '09

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 As announced on our website, LPI will again have certification exam sessions at FOSDEM. Pre-registration is required to have an "LPI ID" in order to take an exam at FOSDEM 2009. We would also recommend to pre-register for the exam itself, as there is limited seating (50) per session. There are 5 sessions during the week-end, 2 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. Exams taken at FOSDEM 2009 will have the usual price reduction of around 50%, and for each exam taken, LPI donates 10 EUR to FOSDEM. For further details, where to register, etc...: http://fosdem.org/2009/lpi cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser <loki(a)fosdem.org> http://www.fosdem.org /\\ FOSDEM 2009 :: 7 + 8 February 2009 in Brussels _\_v Free and Opensource Software Developers European Meeting -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFJbd/nr3NMWliFcXcRAgFMAJ4/VgqiaIFue8SeDZJlvA2QtQBf7gCgkhD0 oF/WajB+g3qUaXfAqrDFYyQ= =XAIW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

( ) By writing a polite appeal? ( ) By having a strong opinion against software patents? ( ) By having a strong opinion against people who've been trying to hurt our communities through software patents ( ) By having a strong opinion against people who are constantly inciting attacks on various of our communities? ( ) By calling attention that Microsoft has a software patent plan through Mono against the community, with the brave help of Novell? ( ) By hoping that proprietary software suppliers don't buy good will? ( ) All of the above? Because otherwise, it seems you just gratuitously took you chance to show off your spite against me as if it was new... (which it isn't, like you pretend it is in this email). Rui -- Kallisti!
